Marc grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Durango in 2001 to attend Fort Lewis College. He spent the next 4 years pursuing his education, powder days, highwater and singletrack.

During college he also bought a home in the Crestview area of Durango and the process sparked an interest in Real Estate.  After closing on his house, Marc decided to fulfill his internship requirement for his degree by shadowing an agent at Coldwell Banker Heritage House Realtors.  Marc graduated with honors from Fort Lewis College in 2005.

Shortly after graduating, Marc began selling Real Estate for Coldwell Banker in Durango, CO.  While learning how to market his listings, Marc became fascinated by the field of internet marketing and search engine optimization. In 2008, Marc left Coldwell Banker to pursue internet marketing full time and moved to Florida to open his eCommerce business: trainhornsdelivered.com

After seven great years in Florida,  Marc decided its was time to trade the beach for the mountains and set his sights higher than simply marketing train horn kits online.  In July 2014, Marc and his wife Megan moved back to Durango and started back up at Coldwell Banker Heritage House as a real estate team.

Marc realizes that buying a house in Durango is about more the just the home itself, it's about living the Durango Lifestyle.  To Marc, the true value of Durango Real Estate lies in the proximity to outdoors recreation, trail access and the community itself.

Marc has really gone the extra mile for us in our attempt to sell our home in Durango. Among other things, he's had to sort through drawers and boxes to find certain items that we needed, We've been living in AZ since the middle of January for health issues and he's had to take on extra chores. Never have we heard a word of complaint or frustration. Its our opinion that he deserves the highest score available!!
