Born and raised in Durango, Kayden is a fourth generation Durangoan. Kayden graduated from Durango High School and attended Fort Lewis College where he received a Bachelor’s in Business. As a young child, Kayden lived in Southern California where his father, Cole, played professional baseball for the San Diego Padres. When his family returned home to Durango, Kayden grew up on his grandparents’ cattle ranch just south of Lemon Dam where he learned the principles of hard work and determination.
At a young age, Kayden quickly inherited the habits of being a contributing member of the Durango community. Kayden has been involved with many community organizations such as youth baseball, Parker's Animal Rescue, Durango Area Association of Realtors®, Mercy Health Foundation and other causes he is passionate about. In December of 2021, Kayden was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Durango Area Association of Realtors® and currently serves as the association’s President-Elect. In addition to his leadership at DAAR, Kayden sits on the Board of Directors of Colorado’s third largest multiple listing service, the Colorado Real Estate Network MLS.
As a lifelong resident of Durango, one of his favorite aspects of living and working in his hometown is the exceptional quality of life. Durango is an incredibly active, lively area where people are partaking in outdoor activities year-round, whether they’re golfing in the spring, hiking in the summer, or skiing in the winter. One of the most rewarding aspects of Kayden’s career is helping his clients live their best life in the Durango area. Kayden’s business focus includes residential homes and homesites, townhouses, condominiums, farm and ranch, residential new construction, and development.
Although Kayden specializes in working with high-end buyers and luxury listings in Durango and the surrounding area, Kayden believes that luxury is not a price point but rather an unparalleled service of representation and marketing. Kayden’s passion for real estate stems from his desire to create genuine, life-long friendships with clients and helping them achieve their real estate goals. Having the opportunity to indulge his interest in architecture and unique properties is just the icing on the cake.
In his free time, you can find Kayden hanging out with his rescue-doodles Bogey & Birdie, golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.
