Josiah is a Durango local through and through.  Born and raised in the area, he has extensive knowledge of everything from the housing market to the breathtaking wilderness.  He loves everything Durango has to offer, and if he isn’t hard at work, he’s probably diving deep into his hobbies.  At the top of the list is any form of outdoor exploration; be it hiking, fishing, camping, backpacking, skiing, or anything else that involves rivers, lakes, or the mountains (he might just give you a few local tips!).  While at home he enjoys fixing, building, and restoring small engine vehicles, as well as caring for his exotic fish and reptiles.

I met Josiah when visiting Durango in September 2020 to see if it might be a good place for my wife and I to retire. I arrived in Durango on a Saturday and just walked n off the street into the Coldwell Banker agency for some basic information. Josiah was "working the floor" so I laid out some general parameters on what we would consider in the way of a retirement home. Within an hour he emailed me several local listings that met our criteria. The list grew and changed as we began visiting the listings. Josiah was very careful to follow protocol concerning masks, gloves, etc when touring. He only showed listings that met our criteria and never pressured us or represented any listing as anything other than what was evident. Josiah is young and has the energy and enthusiasm of youth, he is also very mature and wise in the way he conducts himself. Always polite, always helpful, always honest and always prompt. We did find the home we wanted and even though we were 800 miles away during the closing process, Josiah kept us informed and updated and provided several good referrals for services needed through the closing process.
